About

Lisa Meto Fox is an employment advocate and equity activator based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. With 20+ years of experience in community organising and advocacy. Of Sāmoan and Pākehā heritage, Lisa brings a unique perspective to her work, focusing on equity, and systemic change. A former lawyer and emerging governor, she is dedicated to working towards a world where traditionally marginalised communities can thrive.

As the Manager of the Pacific Pay Gap Inquiry at the New Zealand Human Rights Commission, Lisa led a comprehensive investigation into the disparities faced by Pacific workers in Aotearoa, influencing national conversations on workplace equity.

Throughout her career, Lisa has been a vocal advocate for marginalised communities, amplifying their voices in both policy and public discourse. Her writings have been featured in publications such as E-Tangata, The Spinoff, and Newsroom, where she addresses issues such as ethnic pay disparities and the vulnerabilities of labour hire workers.

A recognised thought leader, Lisa is regularly invited to contribute her perspectives on TVNZ, RNZ, and Pacific Media, offering insights on equity, pay gaps, and community issues.

With a foundation in law and a career dedicated to justice, Lisa offers a range of services aiming to drive meaningful change and promote equity across Aotearoa.
